When you should use an air purifier to help combat COVID-19

Australians are being encouraged to use air purifiers to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The NSW government is conducting an audit of ventilation in schools as children head back to the classroom.

Professor Bruce Milthorpe told Deborah Knight ventilation helps prevent COVID spreading.

“Most houses nowadays tend to be shut up … but that, of course, increases the problem.

“It doesn’t take much virus to cause you to be sick.

“If you’ve got a room that feels a bit muggy that’s a good sign that you probably need an air purifier in there.”
