Speaking on Sydney Now, Lucy Zelic has questioned the backlash surrounding Pauline Hanson’s recent National Press Club address, defending the One Nation leader’s assertion that Australia is fundamentally a “monocultural nation.”

“What we don’t do very well in a democratic country is allow for our positions, for our beliefs, for our views on certain subjects to be interrogated.”
