Jim Wilson has been on the hunt for all the info about how foot and mouth disease hurts our livestock. 

He enlisted the help of Charles Sturt University cattle vet Dr Paul Cusack to explain.

“It’s a horrible disease … expressed with large blisters between the toes on the feet … in the mouths on the gums,” he said.

“Being viral its actually excreted in pretty much every secretion.”

“It’s just incredibly painful and debilitating.”
