Michael McLaren has revealed what has stood out to him about the reception to the Iran war, and it’s not the cost of petrol.

The Afternoons host has noted that an American victory is the “best” outcome for the western hemisphere, and Australia is better off under the protection of the US, and not who would replace the US if they lose their influence and power.

“The thing that really stood out for me is the pervading sense of hope that President Trump was humiliated and, by extension, that our greatest military ally has handed a devastating defeat. I mean, this is the part I can’t quite understand,” he said.
