Industry and Science Minister Ed Husic says he’s confident the government will have the ability to regulate artificial intelligence after meeting with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Husic revealed to Deborah Knight why he’s confident Altman’s willingness to help the government will prove successful in stopping users with intentions to “hurt the community”.

“We need to make sure we have modern laws for modern technology,” he said.
