The Nationals have finalised their list of demands in order to determine whether they can support net zero by 2050.

The exact details of the demands remain under wraps ahead of the Glasgow climate change summit.

Energy Minister Angus Taylor told Deborah Knight he believes the deal is right for the bush.

“Regional Australia has the most to gain and the most to lose if we get this plan wrong.”

Labor MP Joel Fitzgibbon says he hopes a deal is agreed to.

“I hope we can de-escalate this climate change policy war. We’ve spent years arguing about it.”
