Football is having an extraordinary month in Australia thanks to the Women’s World Cup, and it has turned the spotlight onto the funding woes in the game.

Football Australia CEO James Johnson spoke to Mark Levy about the struggles facing the World Game in this country, and has said the game does need more funding.

“We need more funding… we don’t have enough places for players to play”, Johnson told Wide World of Sports.
