Wests Tigers head coach Michael McGuire said he is “really pleased” for his players after last night’s win.

The Wests Tigers pulled off a miracle win last night defeating the Parramatta Eels 21-20 after halfback Jackson Hastings slotted an impressive field goal.

After five previous losses, the pressure was growing on the club and Mr McGuire told Mark Levy the team had to do their best and block out the noise.

“The boys have had to really work hard to find a way to get themselves on the winning scoreboard.”

Switching Jackson Hasting to Halfback and Luke Brooks to Five-Eighth, Mcguire said it was the “right move”.
