Parma Wallaby Conservationist Peter Pigott has spent the last 50 years trying to save the Parma Wallabies from going extinct.

Peter has over 350 Parma Wallabies that he takes care of on his property at Mount Wilson in the Blue Mountains.

“I started getting involved with this in 1969 when I heard the story and I have now spent over $2 million on the project,” he said.

“I simply can’t afford the food now.”

WIRES Wildlife Rescue is the largest wildlife rescue & rehabilitation charity in Australia who are now helping Peter to care for these Parma Wallabies.

“I hope the people at the next election will remember the people who took an interest today,” said Peter.
