Cystic fibrosis sufferer Jess Ragusa has reacted to the news of Trikafta being approved on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.

Jess shared her story with Jim Wilson a month ago.

“I’m very proud of what I’ve done and been able to achieve,” she told Jim.

“When we saw Mr Hunt yesterday say those words… it was like a weight lifted off our shoulders.”

As of this Friday, Jess will be able to get the drug for $6.80 opposed to previously paying $21,375 a month.
