Chris O’Keefe thinks it’s ‘wild’ that Alinta Energy was awarded the tender to build an offshore wind project in Victoria that could power Alcoa’s aluminium smelter.

“If you live in the Hunter or Illawarra, I think you’re up next. Because these companies are compiling business cases to erect hundreds or thousands of wind turbines off our pristine coastline,” O’Keefe said.
