This year marks 20 years since the attack on the New York City’s Twin Towers.

American Airlines Flight 11 was hijacked by Al-Qaeda and flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001.

Shortly after a second plane hit the South Tower.

2,977 people were killed in the attack as the towers collapsed.

Kathy was in the south tower when the planes hit.

She told Ben Fordham “we can’t forget”.

“Everybody that day was a hero in their own way.”
