Ray Hadley delivered a passionate on-air speech as the nation approaches the Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum on October 14th.

The 2GB icon delved into Australia’s dark history as part of a lengthy message to his listeners while acknowledging that the nation “has come a long way” from the wrongs of the past.

“Whether you’ve been here for 60,000 years, or you get here in chains in 1788, or you came as a free settler post the convict era finishing… it’s about your commitment to this country.

“I would like to think every Australian, Indigenous and non-Indigenous is committed to this country. Totally committed to it.”
