Water safety warning amid spate of drownings
Police are reminded the public to stay safe on the water after a spate of drownings over the holiday period.
NSW Police Marine Area Commander Superintendent Murray Reynolds told Chris Smith the deaths could be prevented.
“We can’t stress that enough – life jackets save lives.”
He warns people with new vessels or newly-obtained boating licenses have been more at risk.
