WATCH | Venice cruise ship sends tourists running as it crashes into dock

A cruise ship has sent tourists running and screaming as it rammed into a dock and a riverboat in Venice.
The collision happened at 8:30am on Sunday morning on the Guidecca Canal, which leads to the busy tourist site St Mark’s Square.
Video footage shows the ship blaring its horn before it slams into the dock and a tourist riverboat.

Four people have been injured, including an Australian woman.
MSC Cruises says the collision was the result of a mechanical problem.
They say the two tugboats guiding the ship tried to stop the crash, but were unsuccessful after a tow cable broke when the ship collided with the riverboat.
