A Darwin publican has fended off a saltwater crocodile with a frying pan.

“It doesn’t get more Aussie than this,” Ben said.

Crocodile Hero Kai Hansen told Ben Fordham he reacted on instinct.

“You don’t think, you don’t get scared, you just react by instinct, and that’s what I did that day!”
