Photographer, videographer and Instagram content creator Luke Fuda has documented the harrowing reality of living, working and dying in Liverpool Hospital’s COVID ward.

Mr Fuda told Jim Wilson his experience filming was “very confronting”, on account of what he was witnessing and the risk to his personal safety.

“Liverpool, currently, is the epicentre of the pandemic … having to walk into that COVID ward was just on another level.

“These healthcare professionals are putting their lives at risk, and doing what they can in such dark days.

“It’s incredible to see the way they work.”
