WATCH | Former Solomon Islands high commissioner ‘manhandled’ by Prime Minister’s security
Australia’s first high commissioner to the Solomon Islands has complained of being “manhandled” by Scott Morrison’s security in regional Tasmania.
Trevor Sofield attempted to talk to the Prime Minister about mishandling the relationship with the Pacific island nation at a conference this afternoon.
Jim Wilson was not impressed.
“To me … the safety and security of the Prime Minister and those around him has to be paramount.”
