A car has burst into flames by the side of the road in Sydney’s south.

The car pulled over near the Flower Power at Taren Point, just off Taren Point Road.

Ben Fordham has been sent a video of onlookers desperately trying to put out the blaze.

Emergency services are attending the scene.

Listener Helen tells Ben Fordham she saw the car catch fire.

“It just exploded into flames. It’s burning very, very rapidly.”
