A fresh battle on Sydney Harbour is underway as harbourside residents are declaring war on “noisy” party boats.

Residents want the cruises banned from mooring near the shore claiming the music is too loud.

Residents will be meeting with the state government on Friday to discuss bringing in a new code of conduct.

Captain Tim Lackey from Experience Sydney Harbour cruises told Chris Smith they have been adhering to rules for many years.

“Anything with a loud stereo… the boat has to keep moving.”
