Rugby league great Darius Boyd and his family have become the latest victims of Brisbane’s concerning rise in crime.

Boyd’s wife, Kayla, confirmed that home invaders entered their Bulimba residence while they were asleep, fleeing with the two cars belonging to the family.

“I just feel absolutely violated,” she wrote on Instagram.

Brisbane crime, especially among youth, has become a major talking point for Ray Hadley and guests on his show.

Earlier today, Voice for Victims advocate Ben Cannon, who famously came to the aid of Wallabies great Toutai Kefu during a violent home invasion last year, spoke on the growing concern with youth crime in Queensland.
