With her new album Rita Wilson Now & Forever: Duets, singer Rita Wilson revisits the songs that made her fall in love with music.

The project sees Wilson return to exploring her gift as an interpretive singer, and revisits some of the most beloved songs of the 1970s.

Speaking to Deborah Knight on Afternoons, Rita Wilson says choosing songs for the album was a lot of fun.

“These songs are very special, and still resonate with younger people today. The songs are very close to the heart.”

Wilson is joined by Willie Nelson, Jackson Browne, Smokey Robinson and Australia’s very own Keith Urban on the album.

The singer says the songs tell some great stories.

“I revere songwriters, so choosing these songs was really a lot of fun.”
