‘Very happy’: Panthers CEO delighted to have the Cleary’s resign
The Panthers confirmed new deals for the Father & Son duo with coach Ivan signing a four-year extension and halfback Nathan Cleary another three.
Penrith CEO Brian Fletcher revealed negotiations with the pair took less than a month to complete while admitting both could have earned more elsewhere.
The two will remain at Penrith until the end of 2027.
The decision comes after the pair helped guide the Panthers to a premiership last year.
Panthers CEO Matt Cameron told Mark Levy and Brad Fittler it’s a great day for Penrith.
“We’re very happy here at the club today.”
“A lot of things are going on from the club’s point of view.”
