The Venues NSW boss is open to moving the Sydney Test to the first of the summer.

Shane Warne has suggested the Sydney Test should be moved to the first match of the summer to avoid heavy rain.

Venues NSW Chairman Tony Shepherd told Chris Smith “it’s not a bad idea”.

“Why shouldn’t they start in Australia’s leading city?”
