Sky News host Sharri Markson has told Ray Hadley that she and the Jewish community in Sydney have “never felt unsafe in Sydney until now” as tensions in Australia grow with the conflict in Israel and Gaza.

Markson, who’s proud of her Jewish heritage, says the community is on edge with the growing hostilities on both sides in the Israel and Gaza conflict.

“I’ve never felt unsafe in Sydney until now… I thought hatred of Jews was something far in the past, now we’re all terrified sending our children to school,” she told Ray.
