Wharfies are expected to walk off the job for an hour, three times a day, in pursuit of an enterprise agreement.

The industrial action will begin on Friday.

Maritime Union of Australia Deputy Secretary Paul Garrett told Ben Fordham they want employers to come to the table for negotiations.

“Our members didn’t stop during COVID … they’re entitled to a bit of certainty just like everybody else.”
