Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has criticised Greens leader Adam Bandt, declaring that he is “unfit to be in public office,” as tensions over support for pro-Palestinian activists continue to spark fierce debates in parliament.

“I think he’s unfit to be in public office. He has led a party now that is central to what we’re seeing on campuses, and the distribution of hate and anti-semitic messages online,” he told Ray.
