An Australian Author has written a book that explores the ethics and morality of autopsy and dissection.

Jackie Dent spoke to Deborah Knight about her book ‘The Great Dead Body Teachers’ and the story of her grandparents donating their bodies to science.

“Someone said they got a new job at a surgical facility and the students are getting body parts from America and they’re not dissecting full bodies,” Jackie said.

It got her thinking about what had happened to her grandparents and searched for answers.
