Dashcam footage has captured a motorist’s daring dash for shoes across a major Sydney highway.

A listener sent Ray Hadley footage of the driver, having parked his ute in the emergency lane, running across three lanes of traffic to grab the shoes he’d lost.

“You see some acts of lunacy,” Ray said, “but that goes down as one of the worst I’ve seen this year.”
