Bill Shorten has been spotted by a 2GB listener reportedly behaving inappropriately.

Listener Matt saw the former Opposition leader at a Coffs Harbour hire car desk yesterday.

He told Ben Fordham Mr Shorten made an inappropriate joke to the woman behind the counter.

“He was very proud of himself … I just thought that was not on at all.”
