Anzac Day commemorations will kick off in full swing this year, after two years of scaled-down events due to the pandemic.

Two-up will be allowed to be played at clubs and pubs over three days during the Anzac Day long weekend for the first time.

Veterans, their families and friends will be able to travel on any mode of public transport for free.

NSW Veterans Minister David Elliott told Ben Fordham that after the disruptions of the last two years, the changes will be welcome.

“My view was we should bring the two days back to those veterans.”
