Two teens charged with Queensland woman’s murder were out on bail

Queensland’s youth justice system is back in the spotlight after a mother of two was stabbed to death north of Brisbane.

41-year-old Emma Lovell died after confronting two intruders of her North Lakes home on Monday night.

Her husband Lee was stabbed in the back but has survived.

Two 17-year-old boys have been charged with murder, while another two teenagers are still assisting police with enquiries
