An investigation is underway after two patients died and four others became seriously ill in a fungal outbreak at a leading Sydney hospital last year.

The Sydney Local Health District has confirmed a cluster of Aspergillus infections was identified in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital’s transplant unit between October and December.
