Two children thrown from car in horror crash
Three people are in a critical condition following a crash in the NSW Riverina, including two children who were thrown from the car at impact.
Two boys, aged nine and 12, were ejected from the vehicle when it left the road and rolled on Merriginnie Road at Burraboi.
The older boy was flown to a children’s hospital in Melbourne, while the younger boy was taken to Deniliquin Hospital.
A 32-year-old female driver was trapped but has been freed by emergency services and also taken to Deniliquin Hospital.
Police are currently looking into whether all three occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and whether speed was a factor.
