Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has confirmed to Ray Hadley that he will personally follow up on the process of ensuring Vietnam War Veteran, Richard ‘Dick’ Norden, is awarded his Victoria Cross as pressure mounts on the Albanese government.
This commitment comes in response to an email received by Ray from Keith Payne, a fellow retired Australian soldier and Victoria Cross recipient
“This is a well and truly deserving recipient,” Dutton said of the Vietnam veteran.
