Troy Cassar-Daley’s touching tribute to his late mother

Mark Levy

Australian country music singer Troy Cassar-Daley has played a heartwarming song in honour of his late mother.

Cassar-Daley’s mother, Irene passed away three weeks ago. He told Ray it’s still “very raw”.

“The music has been the only saving grace to ride the wave of emotion.”

He played his moving song Trains in honour of Irene.

“I will dedicate this to my mum, she was a cook on the trains and I just really feel joy, I think out of being able to play a song like this and make sure that I pay homage to her.”
