‘Tried to hoodwink the public’ – Albanese under fire over $6m golf course grant
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is under fire after admitting that a $6 million grant promised to the Marrickville Golf Club won’t be used to fix sewerage issues, despite previously telling the House of Representatives otherwise.
2GB Drive host James Willis says the Prime Minister “tried to hoodwink the public” and labelled the Labor government’s $560 million grants program “blatant pork-barrelling”.
“The Prime Minister is in a deep hazard at the moment,” Willis said.
