Treasurer Josh Frydenberg is confident it won’t be long before tourists are able to return to Australia’s shores.

Australians are able to leave the country and return without an exemption for the first time since March, 2020.

Mr Frydenberg told Ben Fordham “I don’t think it will be long before international tourists, and certainly international students, will be able to come to Australia.”

“We’re going to have to see how it works in this first instance with Australian citizens and residents coming back without hotel quarantine.”
