Treasurer Josh Frydenberg addresses already high petrol prices that are expected to rise even further.

There are calls for the government to slash the fuel excise to help struggling families.

Mr Frydenberg told Ben Fordham the price of petrol “has dramatically increased”.

“The high cost of living is squeezing many families and we’re very conscious of that.”
