NSW Transport Minister David Elliott has defended his actions at today’s parliamentary hearing and is looking for a trustworthy relationship with the Rail, Tram and Bus Union.

The Minister told Jim Wilson he should have been in the loop after being grilled for the handling of the NSW trains shut down last week.

“There was no way in the world I or the Premier… would have challenged that risk assessment.”

After mass uproar from commuters about the disruption the Minister of Transport is looking ahead.

“I just want to get commuters to enjoy their experience.”
