The hospitality industry wants a surety from the state government that any vaccine passports will be mandated in the health orders.

The government announced fully vaccinated people will be able to enter venues when the state reaches 70 per cent double dose.

But restaurateur Neil Perry told Deborah Knight the government needs to clarify if that will be enforced through a health order.

“Do not let the reins go now and say it’s up to individual businesses to decide.

“We can’t have it that the business has to make a decision about that.”
