Tom Trbojevic wants NRL transfer system to strike balance between players and fans

Manly

Manly Sea Eagles star Tom Trbojevic has given a player’s perspective on problems in the NRL’s transfer system amid criticism of the 12 month signing period.

The 2021 Brad Fittler Medallist told Mark Levy he can understand both sides of the debate.

“As players, we enjoy the flexibility of being able to set ourselves up as soon as we can.

“But on the other side of it, I do understand how the fans … can be frustrated by it.

“It’d definitely something that can be looked at and if we can get a system that keeps both parties happy, I think it would be a good idea.”
