Australia Post is reminding people today is the last day to get packages in the mail if they want them to arrive before Christmas.

People who will pay extra for Express Post have until December 20 to get their orders in.

Australia Post Parcel and Express Services General Manager Ben Franzi told Joe Hildebrand they’ve hired an extra 5,000 employees to keep up with demand.

“It’s been incredibly busy.”
