‘Time is running out’ – Transport minister called out over lack of toll reform
The Minns government have unveiled their final state budget ahead of next year’s state election, which will see transport fares paused and vehicle registration cut for the next 12 months.
NSW Transport Minister John Graham has defended the decision to limit the changes to the next 12 months, and his lack of action regarding election promises regarding toll road reform.
“Phase one of reform has been completed … we will get to toll reform, we’ll do it on the timetable we outlined, which is we’ll deal with it this term,” he told Clinton Maynard.
