Three people have been taken to hospital after a violent home invasion in Sydney’s north-west.

Just after 3am, two men allegedly forced their way into a home on Glebe Road at Pitt Town, armed with weapons.

When emergency services arrived at the scene the men had already fled.

A 35-year old man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after being stabbed multiple times in the leg.

A man and a woman, both aged in their 60s, suffered head and shoulder injuries and were taken to Westmead Hospital in stable conditions.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation launched, but details are scant at this stage.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
