Ben Fordham warns the extreme policies from the Greens can no longer be ignored as attention turns to Anthony Albanese.

For the first time, the Greens will hold the balance of power in the Senate, on track for a total of 12 seats in the Upper House.

Labor will have 25 – well short of the 39 required to pass legislation.

“That puts the new Prime Minister in a tight spot,” Ben said, “They’ll need the support of the Coalition or get into bed with the Greens.”

“That spells trouble for Australia.

“Will he stick to his guns or will he cave to the lunatics in the asylum?”

Some of the main policies of the Greens include an immediate ban on the construction of new coal, oil and gas infrastructure and cancel defence contracts.
