Lucy Zelić has weighed in on the major policy shift that will see transgender women banned from all female Olympic events from next year.

Zelić supports the ban, arguing that the need for fairness and safety in women’s sport, especially after the controversy at the Paris 2024 Games, must supersede the individual authority of international federations… and stating the decision isn’t common sense because it should have happened a long time ago.
