Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg believes that Labor’s proposed changes to superannuation are plans to “conceal information”.

The Labor Party wants to remove a requirement for super funds to open their financial records to members.

Treasury claims the reforms are aimed at “reducing regulatory burden” on funds.

Ben doesn’t agree.

“It just means Australian workers won’t know how their money is being spent,” Ben said.

There has been a splurge in spending also as in the five years leading to 2020, AustralianSuper spent $126m on marketing and promotion.

Andrew Bragg told Ben Fordham Labor is “only interested in looking after their mates”.
