Lucy Zelić has been left alarmed by what she discovered while researching the people leading a high school and university student protest against Pauline Hanson.

She’s told Clinton Maynard that she’s concerned by the sprouting of socialist views and the hypocrisy of “freedom for me but not for thee”.

“They’re all really pushing these very aggressive, angry ideologies … It gave me really kind of terrifying thoughts about what the future of our country looks like under this generation coming through,” she said on 2GB Sydney Now.
