Very public comments by Noel Pearson could have just thrown The Voice referendum into the void.

Pearson went out on a limb to describe The Australian’s readership as “borderline casual racists”, which has gone down like a lead balloon. Ben Fordham responded to the very public attacks by Noel, remarking the Voice campaign wants Pearson to be as quiet as possible.

“Noel Pearson is behaving like a wrecking ball again, and if he’s not careful, he’ll be doing further damage to the yes campaign”, Ben Fordham remarked on 2GB.
